Every great company starts with a "why." For All County®, that "why" wasn't found in a boardroom—it was found in the real-life struggle of a single mother trying to protect her future and her family.

It all started with a leap of faith back in 1990. Sandy Ferrera was already a successful real estate professional, but she noticed a glaring gap in the industry. While most people were focused on the excitement of buying and selling, the families who actually owned and lived in rental properties were often being left behind. Property management was frequently treated as an afterthought, even though these homes represented the life savings and the "plan B" for the people who owned them.

As a single mom and the primary breadwinner, Sandy understood exactly what was at stake because she lived it. She wasn't just managing buildings; she was managing people’s peace of mind. She knew the stress of protecting an investment, the urgency of a midnight repair, and the importance of finding a tenant you can trust. With a heart for service and a drive to raise the bar, Sandy founded All County® to prove that property management could—and should—be handled with integrity.

The mission found a new gear in 2002 when Scott McPherson joined the team. Having worked with a competitor, Scott recognized that Sandy had built something truly special. Together, they became a powerhouse team, working side-by-side to scale All County® into the largest property management company in Florida. Their partnership was the perfect blend: Sandy’s visionary heart and deep industry roots met Scott’s operational strength and his drive to see how far they could grow.

But as they expanded into new markets, Sandy and Scott discovered a major truth: growth means nothing if the service gets diluted. They realized that no matter how strong their systems were, property management is—at its core—deeply personal. Owners need someone local who truly cares about their home. Tenants need responsiveness, and communities need stability. They realized they couldn't be everywhere at once, but they knew there were other people out there with the same heart for service.

In 2008, they launched the All County® Franchise to solve the problem the right way. They decided to put passionate, values-driven people into business for themselves—leaders who could serve their own communities with excellence, supported by the "Technical Vault" and decades of experience that Sandy and Scott had built.

Nearly two decades later, All County® has grown into a nationwide business family. With a presence in over 26 states, they’ve built a network of entrepreneurs who genuinely care about the work—and about each other. What Sandy and Scott are most proud of isn’t the number of offices on the map; it’s the culture of integrity they’ve fostered. It’s a community of professionals who believe that property management should be done with both mastery and heart.

While building a nationwide brand, Sandy and Scott were also building a life together. Today, they are the proud parents of four amazing kids. Their family remains at the center of everything they do, serving as a constant reminder that the work they do isn't just about assets—it’s about protecting the places where families grow and futures are built.
